50 yrs Experience Del Ponte Landscape Company is a grass and native grain seeding company in the state of Colorado. Jimmie Del Ponte, the original owner and entrepreneur who started the company, built his company on hard work, a job well done, and reasonable pricing.
Although Jimmie sold the company in 2002 to Anne and Phil Davey, his love of the business and expertise enables him to work at Del Ponte Landscape part time to this day!
Mr. Phil Davey - President, Field Operations Manager
Phil acquired Del Ponte Landscape Company in 2002 after 17 years in government. During that time Phil designed and built two emergency call centers in Colorado and managed operations and staffs of up to 50 employees in the 9-1-1 industry. Prior to that Phil obtained extensive farming and equipment training through his farm background in Eastern Colorado. Phil is a CDOT Certified Erosion Control Inspector and has managed numerous seeding projects in Colorado ranging in size from less than 1 acre to over 200 acres. Phil earned a B.S.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and is active in his church community in Northglenn, CO.
Mrs. Anne Davey - Corporate Secretary, Office Manager
Anne brings to Del Ponte over 30 years of Senior Management experience, corporate negotiation skills, customer service, and general office management. Prior to Anne's involvement with Del Ponte, she was employed at Melco Embroidery Systems in Westminster, CO as a Customer Service Manager and Field Service Manager. Prior responsibilities included annual budgets in excess of $5M, a staff of over 2 dozen, and 17 high-tech equipment field repair technicians. Anne now uses these skills maintain smooth office operations including A/R, A/P, HR and estimating. Anne is detail oriented and a clear, concise communicator. Anne earned her B.S.B.A. from Regis University in Denver, CO and has served the past three years on her Parish's Finance Council in Northglenn, CO.
